FUNDAMENTALLY GREAT DESIGN

Fundamentally great design starts with the plan. We pair this plan with custom designs that incorporate finish and furnishing selections made through the course of the project. During the whole process we collaborate with homeowners and builders alike. Great design isn’t anything remarkable unless you have experience in bringing it to life. It’s the powerful combination of resources that combine to create the best design possible.

Slaughter Design Studio, LLC is a boutique interior design firm located in Fredericksburg, the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Owner and Lead designer Amy Slaughter has been practicing interior design for over twenty years and has served clients throughout the nation. She has the ability to take clients dreams and visions and creatively translate them into functional classic spaces that truly represent a sense of “home”. Amy strongly believes in a collaborative approach with the idea that every team member has something to offer. The team at Slaughter Design Studio is passionate about creating truly individual and beautiful interiors. The Old Stone House studio renovation is coming along. It has been a lot of work and we've put a lot of sweat equity into the project, which has been really gratifying. We have spent many dirty hours pulling out old insulation and wiring, hand scrubbing the old steel roof, and sorting through remnants from past occupiers of the building.
